Golden Gate

Many residents of northern California awoke to yellow and then orange skies as the wildfires burned on this fall. I wanted to capture that moment in time as normal landmarks took on a new hue and eerie feeling. Where I live, the Golden Gate Bridge was blanketed in fog against orange and yellow lit sky . I applied white and grey in large soft brush strokes to contrast with the red brick solidness of the bridge. The bridge is obscured by the fog and reflects off the bay waters below.
