My inspiration for this portrait set was the musicians and artists that make the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival come alive each year. My grandfather started this free festival back in 2001 and I’ve had the joy and honor of participating and watching it grow and connect people through music. I chose several 2023 HSB lively repeat headliners to capture with washes of fluid acrylic paint and lively colors.
Each print is part of a limited set of 5-10 and printed on thick watercolor paper
